The natural properties of the different herbs must be referred to the bibliographic notes and to the common uses of the popular and herbal tradition.

Alder buckthorn: laxative, purgative, suited for intestinal atony and evacuant tolerance.
Alder: astringent, superficial blood vessel tonic, antihemorrhoidal.
Algae biocatalyst Iodine (trace element): it improves metabolism, normalizing and re-balancing the thyroidal functions.
Aloe vera: bitter, tonic, cholagogue, laxative, purgative.
Althea: gastroenteric anti-inflammatory, emollient, it fights enteritis, it re-balances the bowel.
American witchhazel: it favours a reduction in hyperuricaemia and cholesterolaemia. Suited for degenerative rheumatism, cervical arthrosis, lumbar arthrosis, coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis. Powerful analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, it is suited for cervical head-ache.
Artichoke: diuretic, hepatorenal protector, cholagogue, liver protector, depurative, suited for cholelithiasis and jaundice. It fights calculosis. It stimulates the gall secretion.
Ash: diuretic, antirheumatic, febrifuge, it acts against gout.
Bearberry: diuretic, urinary tract disinfectant, anti-decay.
Beech: astringent, febrifuge.
Bilberry: powerful bactericide, suited for urinary tract infection caused by E.Coli, antidiarrheal, astringent, anti-enteric.
Birch: diuretic, antirheumatic, depurative, it eliminates chlorides, urea and uric acid, it is suited for cardio-renal edema, for obesity, cellulite, urinary calculosis, for uric acid excess.
Black cumin: antihistaminic, active against hemicrania and constitutional cephalgia.
Blackcurrant: diuretic, urea and uric acid eliminator, antirheumatic, antispasmodic, general sedative, suited for anxiety and insomnia.
Burdock: strong depurant, diuretic, sudorific, bactericide, suited for any sort of furunculosis and dermatosis.
Butcher’s broom: venous system powerful tonic, suited for varicose veins, phlebitis, haemorrhoids, aedema.
Celandine: suited for biliary spasms, for hepatic colic, hepatitis, hepatic steatosis, jaundice.
Cherry: Diuretic, suited for nephritis, renal and urinary calculus, it favours the elimination of uric acid.
Chestnut: astringent, venous tonic, vasoconstrictor.
Cinchona: it contrasts the onset of infections. Febrifuge, antianemic, suited for convalescence.
Corn: urinary system sedative, diuretic, it eliminates uric acid and phosphate. It is suited for urinary calculosis, caused by uric and oxalic acid, for nephritis, cystitis, oliguria, albuminuria. It contrasts nephritis and calculosis.
Crisantellum: liver protector, hypolipidemic, venous circulation stimulant, vasoprotector. It fights the onset of varicose veins. It prevents calculosis.
Damiana: general tonic, cortico-suprarenal stimulant, psycho-stimulant, aphrodisiac, suited for physical and intellectual surmenage and in sexual deficiencies.
Desmodium: liver regenerator and purifier.
Echinacea: immune system stimulant, anti-infectious, cicatrizant, epithelizing, anti-inflammatory.
Equisetum: diuretic, powerful re-mineralizing, with high silicon and calcium content, two minerals essential to contrast the degeneration and demineralization of the bones.
Escolzia: sedative, analgesic, anti-cephalic, suited for anxiety, irritability, insomnia, breathlessness, loss of concentration, nervous hemicrania.
Eucalyptus: respiratory tract antiseptic, cough sedative, expectoration fluidifying.
Fennel: anti-meteoric, digestive, antispasmodic, carminative, it opposes intestinal fermentation.
Feverfew: suited for cephalgia, fever and menstrual pain.
Fig: intestinal canal regulator, emollient.
Fucus: slimming, organic ground re-balancer, re-mineralizing.
Fumitory: circulation stimulant, depurative, biliary secretion stimulant.
Garden savory: tonic, stimulant, aphrodisiac, it contrasts asthenia.
Gentian: febrifuge, suited for anaemia.
Gingko Biloba: peripheral circulation, micro-circulation and venous circulation stimulant, peripheral vasodilator, it favours the cerebral blood flow.
Grape: diuretic, liver stimulant, chlorides and urea eliminator, blood circulation regulator, venous and capillary tonic. It contrasts the onset of varicose veins.
Guarana: tonic, general stimulant.
Gumweed: balsamic, bechic, respiratory antispasmodic.
Hamamelis: phlebo-tonic, venous vasoconstrictor, haemostatic, antihaemorrhoidal. It contrasts the onset of varicose veins.
Hawthorn: antihypertensive, cardiac rhythm and pressure regulator, tranquillizer, antispasmodic.
Hazel: vasoprotector, blood vessel tonic, depurative.
Hemp agrimony: antiseptic, anti-inflammatory.
Horse-chestnut: vasoconstrictor, astringent, suited for phlebitis and varicose veins.
Hydrocotyl: vessel tonic and anti-inflammatory, epithelizing, it acts against phlebitis.
Juniper: diuretic, antiseptic, suited for any kind of cystitis, albuminuria, oliguria and haematuria.
Laspedeza: diuretic, it fights nephritis.
Lemon balm: suited for nervous, dystonic, digestive hemicrania, irritability, superexcitation, insomnia, depression, digestive disorders and spasms of nervous derivation, vertigo, palpitation. Tranquillizer, soothing, antispasmodic, gastric secretion regulator.
Licorice: pectoral, pharynx secretions fluidifying, also suited for nervous cough, bronchitis, tracheitis, spasms, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, laxative, decongestant, diuretic, emollient. It acts against ulcer.
Linden: emollient, soothing, antispasmodic, relaxing.
Mallow: laxative, refreshing, intestinal canal and contents lubricant, emollient, intestinal walls protector.
Milk thistle: it fights liver steatosis and hepatic cells’ damage, suited for all kinds of hepatitis, antihemorrhagic, venous portal system tonic.
Mistletoe: vasodilator, hypotensive, antispasmodic.
Mouseear hawkweed: it gets rid of the water retained in the tissues, thus contributing to the elimination of fats and toxic substances. Diuretic, antiseptic, suited for oliguria, oedema, hydrops, ascites, excess of urea, arteriosclerosis.
Muira Puama: general stimulant, excitant, aphrodisiac.
Nettle: diuretic, rich in silicon, calcium, iron and sulphur, it favours the elimination of uric acid.

Oats: nervine tonic, useful in case of surmenage, asthenia, sleep disorders, psychophysical stress.

Poplar: diuretic, uric acid eliminator, urinary anti-decay, sudorific.
Pot marigold: anti-inflammatory, cicatrizant, decongestant.
Propolis: bactericide, bacteriostatic, anti-inflammatory, cicatrizant.
Rhubarb: choleretic, laxative, purgative (when taken in massive doses), digestive, tonic.
Rosemary: choleretic, cholagogue, suited for cirrhosis, calculosis, hepatobiliary failure.
Rye: liver protector, it favours the epatic re-generation.
Sage: antiseptic, thermic regulator, it contrasts the lymphatic system engorgements and asthenia.
Salsaparilla: depurative, diuretic, suited for dermatosis and herpes.
Sea-tangle: metabolism and endocrine glands stimulant.
Senna: decongestant, purgative.
Sequoia: it stimulates the circulation, it improves the mental efficiency, it contrasts the brain ageing.
Siberian Ginseng: general tonic, central nervous system stimulant, endocrine and sexual stimulant, adrenal glands stimulant, antidepressant.
Sorb: astringent, venous tonic.
St Johnswort: it bears the general hepatic functions, it stimulates the immune system, it controls tone and temper, it stimulates the psychic tone, it regulates sleep-non sleep rhythms, it is suited for depressions, anxiety, tension, emotional disturbances, insomnia and hypersomnia.
Sundew: cough soothing, antispasmodic, antiseptic, antipyretic, suited for all kinds of cough, hoarseness, bronchial spasms.
Sweet majoram: antispasmodic, tranquillizer, antidepressant, effective against nervous headache.
Swiss mountain pine: diuretic, antirheumatic, uric acid eliminator, respiratory tract powerful antiseptic, expectorant, bronchial secretion fluidifyer.
Taraxacum: it acts on obesity, water retention and cellulitis, activating the epatic function. Diuretic, depurative, laxative, liver detoxicant, suited for chronic dermatosis, hepatopathy, cholecystopathy, incterus, cholelithiasis, hypercholesterolemia, cholagogue.
Thyme: powerful general antiseptic, balsamic, anti-decay, cicatrizant, bactericide, parasiticide, it favours the leukogenesis in case of infection, it normalises the digestive processes, it contrasts intestinal fermentations and infections.
Tolu: airways antiseptic, expectorant, it fluidifies the bronchial secretions.
Ulmaria: diuretic, febrifuge, anti-inflammatory. It eliminates urea and chlorides. It is suited for severe and chronic rheumatism, arthritis and fluid retention.
Virginia creeper: anti-inflammatory, useful in the treatment of arthritis and rheumatics.
Water mint: antiallergic, antispasmodic, effective against headache.
Willow: febrifuge, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic.
